Baptism of Alexander McBroom in the mid 1880s in Cannon County, TN. This was his sixth rededication. His second wife, Rachel Hope McBroom, is in the river with him and the preacher. Their daughter, Laura, is on the riverbank with her arms crossed. The man beside her, holding a hat and Bible, is believed to be Alex McBroom, old Alex's grandson. Note the legs dangling from above.
