Becky is the daughter of Robert (Bobby) & Peggy (Donegan) Snipes and the older sister of Brian Snipes. She was born and raised in Cannon County where she continues to live with her husband, Shawn Murray.
All of Becky's projects originated from the search for her own family genealogy. After visiting the same cemetery three different times, she decided to photograph all of the stones to keep from making a fourth trip. She created a website to store the photos and this was the beginning of the Cannon County Cemeteries Project.
She has also completed a successful exhibit at the Arts Center of Cannon County for her quilling artwork and photography.
